Before I cared about this stuff as much as I do now, I bought a KP-41T35 for the family room. It got replaced by a 65X81 some time ago, but I dusted it off and rolled it into the bedroom recently.

I've been spoiled by a nicely tweaked Toshiba, and now I realize how phenomenally bad the convergence is on this Sony.

I can do only do a single point convergence from the user menu, and for everything but the dead center of the screen, that's actually worse.

I'm not interested in spending the money to get this thing ISF calibrated, but if there's a service mode convergence I could do, that would probably be fine.

Can anyone give me a pointer to any info on doing a better convergence?

Thanks,

Zandr
