I think I have a sound issue with my HTPC. 2 things:
When playing blu-ray disc with powerdvd9 it seems that the sound is low compare to when ripping it and playing it on VLC.
When playing MKVs in WMC the sound is also lower than when playing it in VLC.
So the only way I can get proper sound is when using VLC player.
I checked sound drivers, sound settings everywhere, etc and nothing seems to make any difference. What's the problem?
Here's my setup:
win7
ATI 4670 for video and sound (through HDMI)
AC3 filter and a bunch of other codecs.
Please help me! Thanks!
