Kind of an odd request -- I'm in high school and for homecoming our class sponser (of course and english teacher) came up with the brilliant idea of using a projector in our float. Will it will be shown at night, the field lights will be on so there will be ALOT of ambient light. Also, were using a loaned pany 1200 lumen lcd projector from school, not the brightest around (and there NOT touching my screenplay 7200). I have about $40 budget for the screen, and right now the screens in just a board painted white with some paint some one had lieing around. Does anyone have any ideas for some cheap screen paint that will enhance brightness and make it looked less washed out with all the ambient light, the colors and picture quality doesn't really matter since it won't be seen up close anyways.

Thanks!

Try using the following search terms:

rustoleum aluminum

It will be very bright, but will also hotspot. Also, the problem with this and many other "bright" screens is that the viewing angle will drop off considerably. Something to consider.

But at $5-$10 a quart, it should be cheap enough for you to test with to see if you like it or not.
