Is it possibly to use a progressive scan DVD player to display a 480p (or 720p) image to this projector? How would I do it? Can I just use component inputs? Is this worth doing or should I just use S-Video?

It says it can do 1080i/720p but it doesn't really say how you can do it.

Thanks,

The LP350/340 do not like P-DVD, at least that was my experience trying to drive the LP340 with the Skyworth 1050P, the inability to sync properly and easily were the problems. I am using the S-Video input for now, but you may want to try HTPC, which the PJ had no problem.

You definitely can't use component inputs. The LP350 doesn't have them.

I'll try to get the opportunity tomorrow to try VGA in to the LP350 from my progressive player and report back my results. I know others have said they could not successfully get sync.
