Ok there was a thread somewhere that mentioned this but,

Did anyone come up with a zoom lens that I might stick on this 150 as a replacement for the fixed lens from a clone? I have no idea what the Lt-150 clones are.

Thanks a Lot

The only thing I'm aware of that comes close to being a clone is the Plus U3-1080. But even though it uses the same light engine and is physically the same size it's not a true clone of the LT150 (features are different). There are true clones of the U3-1080 (the Mitsubishi X30, Sharp Notevision M10X, Lightware LX8 and the Phillips UGO X-Lite). As far as I know none of these projectors have optical zoom. But they may all use the same 130 watt halide lamp.

How about the LT150z (zoom model) that is supposed to come out soon. Can one retrofit the existing LT150 with a LT150z lens.

Thumper or anyone else seen this model?
