Hi, please help me :

I'm interested in buying a dlp VP. But I'm not able to decide between the Nec LT150 or the Toshiba S2 ( infocus 340 ). The LT150 is XGA but has 800 Ansi while the Toshiba has 1300 Ansi but is SVGA. I would ONLY use it for dvd and tv watching using the S-VIDEO signal.

Please help me!

It's more important 1300 ansi and svga or xga and 800 ansi considering that it would display signals with resolutions lower than 800x600. Is the toshiba really the infocus 340 remarked ?

Thank you

The magic word you used: "S-VIDEO". Since you are using this type of signal, I would suggest the LP340 based machine since it is reported to have an excellent De-interlacer on board while the LT150 does not. I may change my opinion once my LT150 arrives. Now what I do know about the Infocus LP340 is that two versions have been produced. The original 340 is fine, but there is a 340B that has some changes that ruin the deinterlacer among other things. LP340 owners chime in!! Also, this FAQ may be informative to you. Hope this helps!
