I bought the Peerless model which has an adapter plate for the lt150. It mounts fine and costs around $237 after shipping. This is a bit expensive, especially considering some of the creative mounting tips brought to the forum, but I need to occasionally pull it down to take for presentations, so convenience was a priority. If you go to Peerless directly, it is not listed on their web site. You need to call them directly, and make sure you specify that you need the lt150 adapter plate. This installs onto one of their base model mounts.

I opted for a wall/ceiling speaker mount I found at HTD. Here's the link:

I fashioned my own mounting plate out of a small sheet of steel from Home Depot (about $5). When you buy the mounts, they come in a pair. If you or anyone else is interested, I'll sell you my other one for $16 + shipping.

Alternatives to the $237.00 commercially available mount are:

Modification are necessary

1. 13" TV ceiling mount (about $30.00)

2. Speaker wall mount (about $20.00)

3. Pipe used for Gas found at Lowes in the plumbing department (less than $10.00)

Regards,

Lee.
