Hi all,

I was curious if anyone can shed some light on the rainbow effect with an Iscan v2 or pro, and the LT150. We have read that using an HTPC can help minimize the rainbow effect for DVD's.

One individual even did a test with 20+ people looking for it with HTPC/LT150 combo, and reported that none had seen it, but when he switched over to video clips, they could. I can't remember if he was using the s-video input straight into the projector for the video, but this is what I assume (and I can be an .ss if it's the case.) http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

But will the use of an iscan, have a positive effect on rainbow for video sources? Does anyone have this combo to confirm/deny?

Thanks for you help, and to all that turned us onto the LT150.

On a related note if the rainbow is related to refresh rate, then would using dScaler and setting the refresh rate higher, help minimize rainbow?
