Does anyone know where to buy the DIN 8-pin to D-Sub 9-pin RS232 cable for the NEC LT150 (or similar) projector?

I found the specs for building it here: http://www.posta.cg.yu/istyle/pc-to-host.htm

But would rather just buy it as I have other things I should be doing than building cables.

Thanks!

Here's another. From Radio Shack no less and only $5. I've got one of these around somewhere but it's going to be tough laying my hands on it. I also checked Stay Online to no avail.

I have no idea if the above cable is wired properly.

And here's a couple with a 25 pin D shell; just need a converter to go to the 9 pin D shell: http://www.compusa.com/products/prod..._code=50112437 http://www.compusa.com/products/prod...ct_code=262063

Milori,

The pictures on that web site show a cable that will not work with the LT150. The last page of the LT150 user's manual (english section) shows the proper pin out. Pins 2(RX), 3(TX) and 5(GND) of the DB-9 need to be connected to pins 1(TX), 4(GND) and 7(RX) of the mini-din 8.

My wife built one of these for me in her "spare" time. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif
