I'm thinking about selling my LT150 on eBay to see if with the bit of profits, I can order an Infocus LP530. I'm still a long time away from finishing my home theater, thus I don't really need a projector just yet.
I'm wondering if I should expect a great difference in performance, in a controlled lighting environment? I'll have a totally dark room, with no windows, and dark walls. That said, will the extra brightness in the LP530 make $1300-$1500 worth of a difference?
My main target use is DVD playing, probably through an HTPC so I should have plenty of control of what gets on the screen.
What do you guys think?
