Whilst doing the math (via a computer program, actually), I've determined that projecting my brand-spanking new LT85 from a coffee table will produce a "smallish" image. This is partly because I'm planning to get an ottoman for in front of our loveseat. Because of these factors, I'm thinking that I'll be lucky if I can comfortably manage a 72" wide 16:9 screen (2.6x width viewing distance).

Without the ottoman, 80" wide (2.3x width viewing distance) would seem to be about the limit. I have more room behind the loveseat, but moving the loveseat back would seem to defeat the purpose.

So, what are you guys with big screens doing exactly? Are you sitting farther back, or are you ceiling mounting this projector? Does the Hi-Power still offer a big improvement over a matte or Grayhawk screen when ceiling mounting this projector?

Thanks,

Scott
