While the LT85 is a lower resolution than the LT150 (800 x 600 compared to the 1024 X 768 of the LT150) other than this your looking at the same projector. So if you looking at a lower cost alternative to the LT150, this maybe the projector for you.


You're giving up a little resolution but saving around $600. The LT85 can be found for around $1800.

How far are do you sit from your screen? How big is it? Do you have any problems with screendoor on the lt84?

the pictures were taken from the main sitting position at +/- 12FT from the 84" diagonal (4:3) Stewart StudioTek screen. During certain scenes you can notice some pixel structure. Ideally I would sit 14 FT from the screen, an ideal distance for this proyector or the point where the pixels totally dissapear. Still as you can see fro mthe images, the quality is mighty good for such a little guy. :D
