Now that Dell apparently is finished selling LT150s, I am wondering if the LT85 might be a possible replacement. What are the differences. I see by way of the accessories page on Dell that they use the same bulb and have similar specifications.
They are identical in every way exept for the DMD panel. On the LT85, its DMD panel only allows for SVGA resolution 800x600 pixels. Which is fine for DVD viewing as long as your throw distance isn't too much and viewing distance isn't that far away. The further the throw, the more readily apparrent the pixel structure will be. And vice or versa for how close you sit to the screen. LT150 is XGA (1024x768). If you need your projector to do HDTV, then go with the LT150. Another consideration is if you use the unit for mobile presentations. XGA is a must.
