I remember watching Star Wars in the theaters back when I was a kid and looking forward to the Obi-wan & Darth Vader fight. I remember thinking that it was super cool.
I remember watching Star Wars Special Edition rerelease in the theaters (yes the one where Hans shoot second) and looking forward to the lightsabre fight. I still think it's quite cool but I thought that Lucas fcuked it up big time by missing this bit in the CGI - whenever you see Darth Vader using his lightsabre you don't see the reflection of the sabre on his shiny black outfit particularly his helmet!
Now flash forward to SW: Attack of the Clones. The lightsabre sequence where Anakin fights Count Dooku is more realistic because you see the light play on them - their faces, costumes and eyes.
Out of all the changes that Lucas had made so far in the original trilogy, I wish that he would change this bit. It's not that hard to do, considering that ILM still has the original costume - they could scan everything to get the digital map of the costume and apply CG lightsabre on the costume as reflections. Darth Vader would finally look supercool.
