Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck hooking up there PC via HDMI

Such as going from your video card which has DVI or VGA to your LCD display that has hdmi.

I tried hooking up mine via dvi-to-hdmi and it didnt look good so i am using vga. I am just wondering if anyone had any luck with this.

If anyone has any info on this topic or comments please post.

Thank you,

I have my pc connected through HDMI, but would recommend VGA if you are only using as a pc monitor.

Most TVs have an issue with the text being kinda fuzzy if connected through HDMI. I will guess that to make your screen fit correctly on the TV you had to deviate from the native res. causing it to be blury.

If you are using your PC as a PVR/DVR through HDMI than you don't have to worry about the fuzzy windows desktop because you will probably use Windows Media Center, BeyondTV 4, or SageTV which will probably still show up quite clear when using that gui interface. The video quality will also be a step up from VGA eventhough in the windows environment will look fuzzy.

I hope someone can help you out in finding a TV that will actually show Windows clear through HDMI.
