The application of the LUMENS specification by FP companies appears to be as elusive to pin down as the power specification for car stereos.
You all know what I speak of.. this projector advertises 700 lumens, another 2000 etc. etc.
Even this forum's glossary does not include a definition for lumens, which is remarkable, since it is mentioned in nearly all FP specifications.
Is there any hope for a standard to producing this specification, such as a standard distance from the lamp to the screen, and a standard screen area to justify the measurement?
