i searched and there is a lot of information but i do not understand much of it. i have one dimmer switch already installed in my HT room that controls two lights (wired in series??). i want to be able to control this with my harmony 676 remote to at least dim, adjust brightness, or at least turn off once we sat down to watch a movie as needed. i would be replacing the orginal switch. is this a possibility?


i am looking for the cheapest solution to get a remote controlled dimmer. i saw the lutron model MIR-600-BL, but do not know if this would work.

I have one of those in my living room, can control it with my Logitech 880 just fine. During remote set up there is an option for lighting, just put in that model number you listed.

i did not take a look at the logitech software on my computer to determine compatibility yet but will check it out.


can you actually dim the lights manually or is it just on/off function?

You can dim manually.
