the RMAA results I've got here are a lil inflated. I kinda played around with the input/output levels until I found a setting that was optimum
(I later realised the input output levels should match 0/-6dB according to the manual whereas mine when tested were about -6/-14dB)

anyway, at 16/44 and @input levels of -6dB/-14dB approximately (input 1/2 in rmaa) the Revo had:

Revo 16/44

Frequency response (from 40 Hz to 15 kHz), dB:+0.13, -0.06

Noise level, dB (A): -98.2

Dynamic range, dB (A): 95.9

THD, %: 0.0009

IMD, %:0.089

Stereo crosstalk, dB:-93.4

at the 0/-6 level, it was somewhat closer to the other Revo RMAA results we've seen.

here's a big pic of the card below

(EDIT: RMAA results posted above are probably inaccurate cos of the non-standard input levels used. but it was just fun to see numbers higher than the LynxTwo on my humble Revo
)

They are using the rev number to track the manufacturing runs. Rev 3 was the third run for Revo.

It's just a nice way of greeting

It's always good to throw a smile .... here and then

Anyway I did read dome of you post at hardware zone tough...but I didnt post anything there....just browsing ;) I'm from Malaysia btw.

Thanks for the pics ablaze... I only noticed two chages from the pics you sent...one is the m logo on the rev 2 was replaced with an m-audio logo on rev 3 ....nice change

And the other thing is the m-tek chip has some different numbers than the rev 2... Not sure what this chip is for though

But since Cliff already checked with m-audio I highly doubt there was any design changes

And thanks Cliff for checking with m-audio

Probably just different production date numbers. It is a small "Digital Audio Data" transformer, probably used to drive the S/PDIF output.

Odd, that should be done with a date code. A different Rev number implies, well a different revision.

Not with M Audio. They do very odd things with codes and rev numbers.
