Hi. I am looking at getting the M&K S150 THX System and wanted to know how much better than my current Energy RVSS system it is and wether it is worth the upgrade?

Hi Spizz,

I have the M&K set up and while I havent listened to the energys, I have listened to speakers several times more expensive than the M&K set up. I have also gone through countless upgrades from Missions to Kefs to B&W's, wasted a lot of money-period. In my opinion the M&K set up are the best I have heard, nothing bothers these things and they just sound so clean and sharp and uncolored.

Although I've also not done a direct comparison with the Energy system you mention, I've auditioned a great many speaker systems over the years and very few that I've heard come close to the dynamics, detail, and pleasing sound of the M&Ks150 system. Remember, selecting speakers is very personal and subjective. Ultimately you must go with what pleases you.
