m2t Files Will Not Play Correctly Win 7 RC

I have a bunch of .m2t files from my camcorder, but they do not want to play in 7MC. It takes an eternity for them to load, and when they do, there is no sound. I have a 7800GT video car connected to my RPTV via component cables. I remember playing them in Vista, but now I'm having problems for some reason. Any thoughts? No other format seems to be giving me problems.
