That's hilarious. If they are going through hex numbers in order from 0 all the way up to FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF then eventually you are going to run into some funny names


Someone must have received 00:00:00:00:0D:0A as their MAC as well. I wouldn't feel comfortable is my MAC was DOA. LOL

So that's why my no name routers never work without mac cloning

And as a side note the first two groups of numbers signify the maker of the networking chip and IIRC there's only about a dozen vendors that make the actual chip.
