Mad Catz Universal Component Cable

404 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  govschmo
Hi,

I just recently purchased a plasma TV and I'm trying to figure out the best way to hookup my PS2 and XBox (not 360) to the new TV.

I don't switch between the two game systems that often and I don't want to spend a lot on cables, so the Universal Component Cable from Mad Catz ($14.99 from EB) seems like a good option for me.

I'm just wondering if anybody has any experiene with this cable that they can share.

Thank you very much in advance for any information.

It works ok. There are cables with better quality picture, spending a little bit more would benifit your plasma and decent switch as little as $25 bucks can make life easier when adding equiptment later. Alot of A/.V recievers have component switching as well. The biggest drawback would be the lack of an optical port for the xbox connection on this cable. If you want to try them, go ahead, but I have seen them cheaper so shop around.
