There are cables with better quality picture, spending a little bit more would benifit your plasma and decent switch as little as $25 bucks can make life easier when adding equiptment later. Alot of A/.V recievers have component switching as well. The biggest drawback would be the lack of an optical port for the xbox connection on this cable. If you want to try them, go ahead, but I have seen them cheaper so shop around.
