I have seen the new Madrigal D-ILA projector. It looks very good. Cost is around $20K. The Madrigal rep I talked to said it is indeed a JVC projector. Can't remember if it is the JVC-G20 or JVC-G15.
What Madrigal does is get "hand picked" chips for their version,(whatever that means?), and give it a calibration.
It is an individual choice as to whether you want to buy a JVC and have it calibrated or pay a PREMIUM price to buy it already calibrated from Madrigal.
Either way it does look real good
