The web site dvdplusrw.org says:
1. Put the DVD+RW disk in the tray
2. Leave tray open
3. Press 2(if this doesn't work, then press 3)
The tray will close and format the DVD+RW disk as a DVD-ROM disk which makes it readable on "most" stand alone DVD players.
Has anyone tried this using the Cyberhome CH-DVR 1500 DVD Recorder...
AND
successfully played the DVD+RW disk on a Toshiba SD 1600 stand alone player?
The above trick is supposed to work on "Philips" based DVD recorders. Is the Cyberhome CH-DVR 1500 DVD Recorder considered a Philips based unit?
