i saw where a guy had a home movie party at his house once at the home theater forum


he projected his projedtor on plywood with paper covering it and traced out the monster ink characters and then painted them

I am not an expert at this but one thing that comes to mind is you can print a small version of this characters... cut it out using your everyday scissors and then use some kind of holder to hold the cutout steady and shine a flashlight from behind it to get the silhouette (sp) on the board you intend to cut and paint (yes like those hand shadow puppet thingies, forgot what you call 'em). Only drawback is you only get the shape.

i mean it wouldnt be hard to trace and make a monster's inc character like the little green guy with one eye

Couldn't you just find images on the web, attach the pc to your projector, then project those onto your target material?

my main concern was getting it to look like the image lol , painting it and ect.


but characters like winnie the poooh , for my gf, and for me marlin an dory , would be easy i think


the balrog from lord of the rings would look awesome


but impossible to paint
