Making Demo Disk - a few questions...

205 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Stanton
I have taken a number of the current DVD's I own and copied portions of them to try to put together a demo disk. I crabbed the "titles" by using DVDShrink and have each of them in a file.

I can create the disk with all the titles on it without an issue. I am trying to find out what kind of software I can use to add menus, chapters, etc. to this disk.

I have Sonic's MyDVD 4.0, but when I try to "Get Movie", I chose an IFO file and it says the software does not support it. Has anyone else copied segments of movies to put together a demo disk and know what to use to creat the menus?

This isn't exactly what you asked, but I have done the same thing describe (w/DVDShrink) WITHOUT menus with the following FREEWARE tools:

IFOedit

VOBedit

I spent many hours figuring out how to merge the VOB's and still have chapters, but I'm happy with the results.
