About 15 years ago, I was an early adopter of CCD technology over tubes--so I'm not a CRT bigot. That said, I'm curious to hear from people who owned Sony 12XX's etc. and made the switch to LCD. Right now, for $1500, you can get a Sony 12XX or a InFocus 735. I love converging projectors--it's fun--but there's some appeal to a zoomable LCD that doesn't look like an air conditioner on your ceiling. What has everyone's experience been? What are the tradeoffs? I'm planning a 75" screen, so XGA may be more than enough. I recall setting up 1252Qs for 10' screens--but at 75", maybe LCD is good enough....
