I have a dual output video card. One output will drive the TV via dvi. The other will drive a monitor via VGA from across the room. I'd like to use this wallplate VGA connector to run the cable hidden in the walls.

The total run is about 25 feet. My question is what do I use for the signal cable and which pins are used in the DB-15 connector? I assume the cable will be something like a triple coax with 2 other solid conductors, but I'm not sure.

Here is the pinout. You could get a pre-made cable and just cut the existing end off, or even better, unscrew the HD15 from that wall plate and replace it with the pre-made cable's end. There are male-female and female-female extension cables available so you could go from wall plate to wall plate or from your video card directly to the wall plate.
