Finally!


Is this Universal's last remaining hddvd holdout? They've waited so long I'd just assumed they were gonna keep waiting until the 20th anniversary next year. I had to throw my defective dvd18 in the recycling bin.


Here's hoping it doesn't look worse than the hddvd.

PQ and AQ are what you would expect for a title of this age and vintage (read: low budget). But watching the Extended version all the way through, I noticed 4-5 bad edits throughout the movie. I don't think they're dropped frames, they appeared on both my Oppo and Sony players. I think they're badly spliced edits to create the extended version. Those weren't there at similar points when I sampled a couple of the scenes in the theatrical version (see the scene with Brodie and Shannen Doherty in bed arguing over Sega).


Now having watched the EE, this is one of those titles I feel was better in its theatrical form.
