Hi
I've just hooked up my new Skyworth 1050D and I'm wondering what all those features in the Menu could mean.
Does anyone have a link for explanations and / or a complete English manual for the Skyworth?
or could you explain me fallowing menus:
1. TV Display:
- Normal / PS
- Normal / LB
- Wide
Question: Is this only aspect ratio? Does the quality change between these modes? Which ones the best (on CRT projectors)?
2. PIC MODE
- AUTO
- HI - RES
- N-FLICKER (Nonflicker mode)
Question: What the hack is this???
3. Angle Mark
- On
- Off
Question: Is this multianglemode on/off?
4. Audio Out
- Analog
- SPDIF / RAW
- SPDIF /PCM
Question: Is SPDIF / RAW the right choice for external decoder over optical connection?
5. Captions
- On
- Off
Question: What is closed caption? Ok offtopic
6. There's a menu point called Preferences, but I can't access it. How to do this?
7. What does LPCM mean? Should I activate LPCM 48K or LPCM 96K?
Thanks in advance - couldn't find my answers in the skyworth faq and neither by search function....
Cheers - Andy
