I have paged through specs and such till I am blind.


From amazon 567 (Mar) vs 529 (onk) both amazon Prime.


Both have Pre-outs.


I dont see why I need the networking? Why wouldnt I just run a digital audio out to digital audio in (from PC to Rec) and control the PC functions from my ipod and ipad as I do now?


The 6005 to me looks (as in physical beauty) looks far better.


The Onk has Aud Multi EQ XT while the Marantz is Aud Multi EQ.


Will I miss that difference if I go Marantz?


Maybe I should just go cheap with Onk 360..


I am going to be driving some Polk Monitor 70's as the main's for the time being.


This is probably at the top of my budget for a receiver at this time. I am more or less starting from scratch, so I have speakers, receiver, seating, and wiring to work on.

what Onkyo are you talking about? The 304 is a low end receiver from 5-6 years ago. Your title can't be right?

ONKYO HT-RC370


not a 304

Better feature set on Onkyo 370.


1. Audyssey MultiEQ XT

2. Marvell QDEO upscaler

3. Ethernet Port for Pandora and internet radio streaming

4. THX Certification (not a big deal to me)

5. Can do firmware update via ethernet


The Onkyo definitely has the better features except Marantz has a 3 year warranty, Onkyo 2 yr.


Either one would work great with the Polk Monitor 70.
