My mike fell down once and since then the receiver does not detect it anymore. Where can I get a new Mike? Will any audyssey mike do? Can I use one meant for different receiver?

You can usually find them on eBay for $20-$30 (use USA sellers only) or directly from either Marantz or Denon. You are looking for either an exact replacement ACM1h or the Denon equivalent is the DM-A409.

I understand that an Audyssey mic is calibrated to the equipment. So you don't want any mic, but the specific one for your 7005.

How do I find out the exact model number, Manual?

Is ACM1h suggested by jdsmoothie the exact replacement?


The marantz website dosent seem to sell the mike separately

Correct. The ACM1h is the mic that is listed in your Owner's manual. It would not be sold on their website, rather from one of their authorized parts distributors. Easiest though is just to buy it from this eBay listing (same mic used with Onkyo as well).

I just noticed on the audyssey mike box, it is written in really small print in one corner
