Marantz 7300 and 8400. Big difference?

Looking to drive some MA RS6 speakers for a 2.1 setup for mostly music, some gaming and some movies. Bass management is a must!
Reviews of the SR8400 are scarce, and the SR7300 has gotten favourable reviews.
Anybody have experience with one or both?
