I would like a new processor. I will mate these with Emotiva amps andKlipsch reference speakers.


Which will be a better choice for HT?

This is very personal choice... The integra has all the bells and whistles...while the marantz doesn't.. In terms of sound quality, the integra sound is more on the neutral/bright zone while the marantz is on the warm side....

I liked the sound of the marantz better than the integra's and this is why I chose it...

The only issue is that if you want to hear the advance audio codecs from Blu ray (DD+, dolby true hd, and DTS HD MA), it will be better if you have a BD player that can decode them. The AV8003 can decode but it turns off the audyssey, which is critical in my own opinion....

I agree with gonzalc3 the Marantz is an "all around" great choice. But for HT it's a toss up.
