WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE BEEN AUTHORIZED TO ACTIVATE THE DVI FEATURE OF THE MARANTZ DV8400 BY THE DVDCCA

The official announcement from the DVDCCA (DVD Copy Control Association)was made in the USA on September 26, 2003.

The process of how to activate the DVI feature is shown on the following website:

1)The activated DVI output on the DV8400 is only compatible with displays that incorporate HDCP (High-Band width Digital Content Protection).

2)If the Manufacturing Date (not to be confused with the date of purchase) listed on the back panel of your DV8400 is after October 1, 2003, please check to see if the DVI output is covered by a black label. If it is, please follow the upgrade procedure below. If the output is not covered then the DVI output has been activated at our factory and no action is required.

3)In order to enter the website, your name, e-mail address and serial number of the DV8400 you purchased is required.
