I was checking out some sites for the Marantz DV6001.Just wondering if anyone owns this piece & what they think about it.I'm mainly looking at it for the universal player.Was wondering how SA-CD & redbook sound.

I'm running an ES999 for super audio but would like to try DVD-A, also since the new Beatles disc is in that format.

The price seems ok but was wondering how the build is & if it's worth the bling.

I recieved mine today, nice build the SACD is OK. But not close to my SA7001KI. The picture is at the same level as my old Denon 3910!

Its worth the money, but be aware SACD is via RCA,because its HDMI 1.1

hi - i am waiting on the 6001 also - can you tell me how the video is upscaled to 1080p ? i will be replacing a oppo 981


the 981 does a good job - will the marantz do as good a job or better ?


what can you tell me about the video PQ -
