After reading (too) many posts, I was about to make my selection as the HK 235-z, refurbished. Then I saw the Marantz sr3001 on their website. I searched for posts on the Marantz, and could not find any. It is about $100 more than the HK, but it is a step into upper end equipment. Does any one have any experience with this Marantz? I am not an audiophile, and do not have a "trained ear."

The line is sure popular. I own the SR7001, there are active threads on the SR4001...
