I replaced the lamp at 900 hours. The menu has a selection to reset the lamp to zero hours. I followed the manual and can not get it to reset. I selected "Yes" in the reset menu. Any ideas on how to reset the hours?

So it still says 900 after you reset it? Or does it say 2000?

On a Marantz, there are two hour meters. One is for total hours on the projector. That one can't be reset by the end user. The second hour meter is the lamp counter. That one can be reset. But a Marantz lamp hour meter, starts at 2,000 and counts down to zero. Make sure you are trying to reset the correct hour meter.

User error. Thanks Doug & Mike. The lamp meter did reset. The total hours stayed at 900 - and that was the entry I was looking at. It had already reset.
