Would be nice if the OSD from my NAD T762 could work on the Ehome S-Video in (channel5). The PJ will not sync on the signal...any good suggestions?


My htpc is setup with 2 desktop settings, one for PAL and one for NTSC.

Powerstrip is changing this by pressing a defined key on an ATI remote...


Would be nice if the PJ could auto-detect settings from powerstrip, and then change recall-mem...

Try another S cable, or maybe you have a bad decoder board in your Marquee.

On that note, how far car you have a run of S-Video go ?


Where would you get a long run cable ? ( Long run being 20-25 feet) in my instance.

I bought a 25' s-video cable on ebay

There's a thread a few months ago where we talked about adapters to split the s-video into 2 separate heavy cables with BNC connectors for longer lengths.


Your OSD might be a special case, but for the s-video from my son's PS2, it works much better to use a cheap convertor to scale the svideo up to 800x600 or 1024x768 RGBHV.

Attached my DVD player with an good quality Monster S-Video cable (1,5m).

Still got "No H-sync" when selecting channel5...


Mybe the input card is defect
