In the past month, I have gone from a HT lover to an addict trying to get the best picture I can. I upgraded from a Dwin HDP-500 to a Marquee 9500 Ultra. The 9500 I purchased was in pretty good shape, but the tubes were a little burned and the burn was not centered. After I hung the projector, there was a very good picture on most of the screen and a six inch band of a perfect image down the left side. I did what any normal addict would do and bought another projector with perfect tubes and am in the middle of moving them into the 9500. I have emptied the glycol on the "new" tubes and when the glycol I ordered arrives, I will be ready to install them in the 9500. I took LOTS of pictured, if anybody is interested. The donor projector is a 9000 LC. My question is do I need to move the focus and convergence yokes from the tubes that were originally in the 9500 to the tubes from the 9000 before I install them?
