Martin Logan SL3s

As a current owner of SL3's who paid $1850 for a used pair...in short, YES! You won't be dissapointed a bit!

Its a good price if it is in mint shape. I have seen the Request for around $2k.


Make sure that the panel is in good condition. It would help if you knew a little about the owner. Was the speaker in a smoker household. Did the previous owner have kids(check for holes in the mylar). Was the speaker kept out of the sunlight. Each of these elements can make the panel brittle and lessen its life.


If all checks out, you have a winner. The SL3 are still great sounding speakers; just be prepared to mate them to decent electronics. enjoy

Also a current SL3 owner. Incredible speakers. It was a close race between Thiels, but the SL3's won out. As for looks, check out the newest Logans on martinlogan.com... Ugly!



They will reveal bad electonics though...
