So I have some Sonace in wall speakers for my LCR. I wanted to keep these speakers and get a pair of speakers as my rear surrounds in my 5.1 set up (bookshelf). What is important to matching the front stage with my surrounds (if necessary at all). The specs on the LCRs are below:

Left/Right:

Tweeter: 3/4" (19mm) silk dome, ferrofluid cooled

Woofer: 6 1/2" (165mm) polypropylene cone with a rubber surround

Frequency Response: 50Hz-20kHz ±3dB

Impedance: 8 ohms nominal; 6 ohms minimum

Power Handling: 5 watts minimum; 100 watts maximum

Sensitivity: 88dB (2.83V/1 meter)

Center:

Tweeter: 1" (25mm) silk dome, ferrofluid cooled

Woofer: Two 6 1/2" (165mm) carbon fiber cones, rubber surrounds

Frequency Response: 43Hz - 20kHz +/- 3dB

Impedance: 8 ohms nominal; 6 ohms minimum

Power Handling: 5 watts minimum; 135 watts maximum

Sensitivity 92dB SPL (2.83V / 1 meter)

So of these specs which are the most important to match with my new surrounds.

Another question, currently I have a pair of in-ceiling speaker acting as my rear surrounds in the 5.1 set up (same specs as the LR listed above) they are directly above the main listening area (unfortunately). If I get new side surrounds could the in-ceiling serve as rear surrounds in a 7.1 set up being where they are located? I was under the impression that rear surrounds in a 7.1 had to be behind the listener. thanks in advance.
