Which is better to use with a DLP or LCD projector? - matte white or glass beaded - I'm talking about da-lite screens. What is the difference? Any opinions?

i,d go with neither my choice would be a da-lite video spectra screen with a 1.5 gain, my two cents...........

I would avoid a glass-beaded screen with a digital projector. I've used it and the additional brightness is great but contrast suffers and the beaded surface applies a texture to the picture in addition to the texture added by the digital projector.


The Dalite High contrast screen sounds like a good choice but if you must have gain I really like the Highpower...

I agree but the price jumps up on the high pwer. For Crt the glass beaded

is the best choice or if the person is on a budget.
