Hi everyone, nice forum!!

I have a dish receiver in the main room of the house, close to the TV , hooked up with Svid cable. Now i also have a TV in the bedroom hooked up by coax from the rec. also. Picture is not all that hot, would it be better to use the video/sound outs on the rec. and run them to the TV instead? Whats the max cable runs? Its probably a good 50ft away.

I have pondered the same thing. I had a run of about 30ft from my dvd to projector. I purchased monster audio/video cables to do this. It worked ok. Then when I was at my AV store in milwaukee I looked at their projector and they used quad shielded coax with F to RCA adapters. I would do the same next time. I ended up using a computer cable for the projector xga input.
