I just bought my X1! Yippee. I would like to know if applying the maximum possible keystone for the X1 on an image will result in severe picture quality degradation.

I don't know what the maximum is, but I have mine set to 56 and for DVD it's hard to tell that keystoning is used at all. Easier to tell on a computer, but even then it's not bad. If you have it set at the maximum you might wanna try flipping the projector over and using it in ceiling mode.
