it seems my MC-1 stays in Mute mode on my DVD input...the red lite stays on,iv tried to turn on and off...my other inputs seem to work...


also not the i unplugged all my gear,speakers and moved my equipment to another room...


to test my hook ups i tried 2 cables to V-DISK and i got sound.

This also seems to happening in the CD mode.....

are you sure that is mute mode or zone 2/record mode the light signifies?


I like the fiber lighting!

In addition to what Mark said are you sure you have the correct digital input assigned to the DVD player and the CD player? Are you actually playing something on those two inputs? Many DVD players won't output any digital signal when they aren't playing and the Lexicon's will show they are in mute in that case.

well the only reason i think it does is because that light turns on(mute)and off (mute) in other modes....


iv switched my 2 cables from dvd player to anolog and v-disk and it works i get sound.....

ill double check,however it is the same set-up i used before i moved the unit....

i switched to Coax 1 and used 1 cable problem solved:)
