I am running MCE 2005 and just installed the PVR250 non MCE version. I went to Hauppauge's site and downloaded the latest drivers . followed the instructions from the site and pointed the install wizard to the unzipped inf. file.....and the system recognized the card. Rebooted and then launch the exe. file that was downloaded from the site. I can go into MCE and set up the Tuner. MCE recognizes the tuner and sets the EPG and finishes the whole process. When I then go and click on MY TV and hit Live TV I just get Black and White vertical bars and some static on all channels. I'm sure I am doing something wrong.....but I tell there is no such thing as plug and play as I have spent days trying to install Video Cards...Sound Card....and now a no go so far for this....Man. My Video codecs are the latest NVDVD from TT 2.0 and my Video Card is ATI 9800 Pro. I know it's not the cable signal As I can plug my ATI TV Wonder in with Dscaler and get a picture...Any help or step by step instructions.Please.............
Another issue is that If I try the Drivers from www.shspvr.com and point the new hardware wizard to the unzipped file it wont recognize those drives and just says can't install hardware.
