MCE shows all DVDs as 4:3 on 16:9 screen

I know that I've seen a post about this before, but in all my searching, I wasn't able to find it. For some unknown reason, MCE is showing all my DVDs as 4:3, even though the rest of the app fills my 16:9 screen. On all DVDs, including widescreen ones, it gives me the pillars on the left and right, which means that in order to fill the screen on a widescreen DVD, I have to use the zoom feature, which is not what I want to do. I'm completely confused by this, because all other parts of the app, including HDTV, shows up full screen. Does anyone have a solution for this?


I'm using the Cyberlink PowerDVD decoder for now, if that makes a difference. I've though about trying out the Nvidia one to see if that changes things.
