I want to measure the light output of my projector and bought an inexpensive light meter. What I read about the subject says to project 100 IRE, which I take to mean pure white, for the measurements. Would you expect there is a projector setting that would project this? Or do I have to find some kind of video source? (I have a Sony VPL-HW15) Thanks.

If your projector doesn't have a 100 IRE test pattern internally, get a calibration disk like this - http://shop.avscience.com/Spears-Munsil-HD-Benchmark-2nd-Edition_p_572.html

They have that and much more on them. :)
