Could someone who is using a Media Center remote check something for me,please? Could you check the Properties of the remote in Device Manager and see if it has a Power Management Tab. If so is the "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby" grayed out?

I had trouble finding this when I setup my remote.

For me, the Power Management tab is not on the properties page of the "Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver". Instead, it is on the properties page of the "HID-compliant consumer control device". There, I was able to check the "allow to bring out of standby" checkbox and now I am able to use my remote to wakeup the computer.

Sweet, KKrambo. Thanks, than I'll order one. How do you have your computer setup to go into standby using the remote? Do you have an S3 option in BIOS(I do not), or have you setup the Power Management functions of Control Panel to place the computer in Standby when you press the power button on the computer? If the latter, does pushing the power button on the remote put it into and take it out of standby?
